The data acquisition system uses Windows clients and socket connects to Linux data servers to command and control aircraft navigation system hardware Ć’ADSLMs and pilots' Inertial Navigation Systems.
With the deployment of a communications management system (CMS) on board, controllers have been able to coordinate and manage several simultaneous tasks in the air; for example, pilots can access radar and reporting functionality and communicate with controllers in order to refuel or conduct engine run checks.
As a result, inbound aircraft are much easier to manage, and we have seen significant safety benefits in terms of reduced turnaround.
